Chris has been a journalist and editor for the last 20 years, focusing on a broad range of topics primarily in the lifestyle & travel sector. He was editor of two international travel magazines, co-author of five travel books and the founder of TheHappiestHour, one of Australia’s most popular hospitality platforms. Currently based in Melbourne, he also teaches in the Journalism Program at RMIT (Melbourne and Singapore) and the University of Melbourne, and provides content/copywriting services for a variety of businesses.
Chris’ work has been published widely including titles such as The Independent (UK), The Age/The Sydney Morning Herald, The Australian, Herald-Sun, Business Traveller Asia, Good Food, Tiger Airlines Magazine, Sunday Mail and Jetstar magazine. Chris also co-wrote the Rough Guide to Vietnam (2007), Rough Guide to Australia (2008), Hedonist Guide to Buenos Aires (2010) and Fodor’s Guide to Australia (2014).
